The look of sterling silver or pure copper is unmistakable. There are many cheaper alternatives but why risk the inclusion of potentially dangerous metals like lead or cadmium just to save a few bucks. Using sterling silver or copper, much of which is recycled, is worth the peace of mind that pure metals bring. Many of the silver enhancements I use are individually handcrafted by artisans in Israel, the island of Bali or the Hill Tribes of Thailand.
I take great pride in each piece I create, using only sterling silver and solid copper to compliment nature's own inimitable semi-precious gemstones in a wide spectrum of shapes, colors and textures.

Each of my beaded designs are strung on 49 strand stainless steel wire for superior strength. I use sterling silver and pure copper french coil or wire guards to protect the wires where they meet stress points to ensure longivity. Sure, I could forgo this step like many retailers do but cutting corners has never been my style.
Beaded chain styles have charms and bead connections that are double wrapped for strength and security, not just bent over to form a loop. Again, I could skip this step however I handcraft every piece with longevity in mind in addition to style.
More and more of my sterling silver and copper findings are personally handcrafted. I just can't find the hooks and closures I want in the more substantial gauges of wire so solved the problem by making them myself. These handmade findings can be purchased HERE.
